The first AQAv2 payment reached Hyperliquid's Assistance Fund overnight, and $1.62M of it was already spent on $HYPE within eight hours. The full $14.58M for interval 1 landed at 00:00 UTC on Oct. 4 and matches to the cent what the chain charged Coinbase's treasury balance, per @hl_eco. That answers the one open question in my research: how the fund would handle a monthly lump sum. How it buys: → Same $10K limit orders as before, refreshed constantly. No single large purchase. → $1.62M spent by 07:52 UTC, roughly 2.5 times the fund's usual pace, with $13.10M still to deploy. → At that pace the whole payment is in $HYPE within 2–3 days. What comes next → Interval 2 has accrued $4.82M after 9 of 30 readings and is on track for about $16.1M on Nov. 2. → The run-rate holds at about $196M a year on a $6.07B balance. Full breakdown of the deal, the revenue impact and the buyback scenarios below.
