Hyperliquid now gets paid on the $USDC that sits on it, and two companies have staked 1M $HYPE behind that commitment. Under AQAv2, @coinbase holds the treasury address and pays the full AQA rate on its balance, while @circle runs minting, redemption and CCTP. → Each has 500K $HYPE staked and slashable, with six months' notice before leaving. → Of the $7.31B of $USDC on @HyperliquidX, $6.05B (83%) sits in the treasury address and is charged every day. → At 3.24% that is about $196M a year, all of it for $HYPE buybacks.
